Experience
Jane Briley taught 4-6 grade students for 15 years at Clearfield Community Schools.  She was technology director and teacher for most of that time.      
 She taught middle school reading and English and was technology director at Orient-Macksburg Community Schools for 5 years.      
 Jane taught the second chance reading program at Murray Community Schools for two years.  The program was discontinued.      
 Jane Briley is now teaching special education and math at East Union Community Schools.

Jane Briley graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, Missouri.  In 1995 she received a Masters Degree in Science Education from University of Iowa. She is certified to teach all subjects between Kindergarten-8th grade, Kindergarten-12th grade reading and 5th grade-12 grade special education.

Jane taught 15 years at Clearfield Community School District in Clearfield, Iowa.  She taught 4th-6th grade science, reading, and computer application.  She served as the technology director for many of those years and was also Talented and Gifted Coordinator.  

Jane became technology director in 2000 at Orient-Macksburg Community School District while teaching middle school English and reading. She also served as talented and gifted coordinator for a short time.

In 2005 Jane was trained and taught SCR (Second Chance Reading) to middle school and high school students at Murray Community School District, the program was discontinued in 2007.  She completed training in 2006 as a Iowa state trainer for the Department of Education in the SCR process.

Presently, Jane teaches middle school special education and middle school math at East Union Community School District. She received her special education certification in secondary schools in October 2010.
